1. Accepting these terms
By creating a Bakyasri account, installing a Bakyasri camera rig at a gym, or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a gym or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation.
2. What the service does
The service reads a camera feed to detect body pose during a workout, measures joint angles and range of motion, counts reps against completed movement, flags form drift and produces adaptive workout plans. It also provides membership, class booking and trainer dashboard tools for gyms.
The service is a training and coaching tool. It is not a medical device. It is not a substitute for a physiotherapist, a doctor, or a certified trainer.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity carried out under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your credentials have been misused.
Gym accounts operate under a role-based access model. Each role sees only what that role is authorised to see. Gym administrators are responsible for assigning and revoking roles at the club level.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to identify individuals without consent, or in ways prohibited by applicable privacy laws.
- Reverse engineer the pose model, the form correction logic, or the workout plan generator.
- Resell, sublicense or repackage the service without a written agreement.
- Interfere with the service, our infrastructure, or other users' access to it.
- Point a camera rig at areas outside the training floor without appropriate signage and consent.
5. Health, safety and injury
Strength training carries inherent risk. The service is designed to help you train more safely, but it is not a guarantee. If a movement causes pain, stop the movement and consult a clinician. Do not treat a green form score as medical clearance to lift beyond your recovered capacity.
If the service surfaces an injury-risk flag, it means a movement pattern has repeated - not that a diagnosis has been made. Diagnostic assessment is the role of a qualified medical professional.
6. Camera use and consent
At home, pointing a camera at your own workout is your decision. At a gym, the club is responsible for ensuring members are informed that camera-connected rigs are in use on the training floor, and for making the club's data handling practices known to members.
7. Billing and cancellation
Home accounts are billed on a monthly basis and may be cancelled at any time. Gym contracts are billed annually under a separate written service agreement, which controls in case of conflict with these terms. Refunds outside those agreements are at our reasonable discretion.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service available around the clock, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability outside a written service agreement. Maintenance windows are announced in advance where practical.
9. Intellectual property
The Bakyasri name, logo, pose model, correction logic, plan generator and the visual design of the product are owned by the operator of the service. You keep ownership of your workout data - we hold a licence to process it as needed to provide the service to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as-is and we are not liable for injuries, lost gains, indirect losses, lost data, or third-party claims that arise from the use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for a serious breach of these terms - for example, misuse of the pose data, security violations, or behaviour that puts other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will give you a chance to fix the issue first.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the service is registered. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless a written service agreement specifies otherwise.
